Numerical simulation and experimental validation on the heat transfer property of vertical buried tube ground heat exchanger

Abstract In order to study the effect of arrangement buried tubes on heat transfer, a three-dimensional transfer model vertical U-shaped is established. The regional thermal efficiency and soil temperature field around arranged in square array rhombic are numerically simulated. numerical simulation results compared with experimental data verify correctness established conditions. show that form has more advantages than form: same number tubes, land use area smaller efficiencies two forms almost same. validation shows value average rate single tube good agreement simulated value, relative error 5.4%.
